Language learning that makes sense

Hey there :) Glad to have you here.

The website is currently under construction, but for now you can find basic information here, too.

What is LanguageLab?

It is the name of the coaching service I provide for people who want to learn languages efficiently - with methods tailored to their own interests, personality, and lifestyle.

My goal is to design study plans which are a fun and practical blend of the following three things: experience-based learning, research/study-based learning, and entertainment-based learning in order to keep it interesting and relevant for you.

LanguageLab is for you if you:

have tried several things but nothing worked
- have a crazy schedule and/or are constantly on the move
- are convinced that you "don't have a talent for languages"
- need to learn/improve a language in record-time
want to learn more than one language at the same time
- feel blocked or stuck and don't know how to get out of it
keep giving up on that one language you really want to learn
- have some kind of learning disability or social anxiety

What makes the LanguageLab method better than language tutoring?

  • 100% tailored to your personal needs: before starting we do at least 3 sets of tests (personality, learning style, and linguistic background) so I can assess what would work best for you.
  • dynamic packages: I adapt the materials, resources and methods to your needs based on your feedback about what you find to work best for you
  • you decide what you want to learn and what you need the language for, hence it is more rewarding, useful, fun, and personal.
  • it is, in the end, cheaper than a language school program or tutoring: for most people it takes a lot more time, effort and money to get to the same level that you can get to with LanguageLab.
    - Language schools can't adapt to every individual's needs, so even if they're good, you spend time and money learning a lot of things you don't actually need.
    - Tutoring is designed to not get you to your goal too fast, because for longer you stick around, the more you spend. Language coaching has a set framework, milestones and deadlines, so it's a lot easier to quantify and assess the effectiveness of it.
